Paddy Ashdown 1941-2018
A Giant of Liberalism and of British politics
Paddy Ashdown will be greatly missed by Trafford Liberal Democrats and those in the wider party.
He was a statesman and an action man, cutting through the political divide to get things done.
He had a profound affect on some local members and we shall continue forward as the best way to remember him and maintain his legacy.
We have lost a leader, a giant and a stalwart of British Liberalism, however he taught us to believe in ourselves and never give up and that is what we will always remember.
