While the Council were re-surfacing Park Road, the Head of Highways phoned Will Frass to say that following his request Trafford have got a trial of new-style Belisha Beacons with the L.E.D. 'halo' - which is much more visible from a distance in daylight.
The Lib Dems has been in repeated contact with the Highways team at AMEY to get Park Road resurfaced outside St. Hugh's School. The resurfacing of the road is planned to go ahead in June.
Cllr Will Frass has chaced up AMEY to get them to repair the speed hump on Brook Road, which was recently relayed, that is already falling apart.
Cllr Will Frass tells us that the final lap is approaching as our pedestrian crossing petition was debated and passed at Trafford Full Council.
As Timperley Councillors we object to these proposals in the strongest possible terms. The introduction of parking charges at Thorley Lane would be damaging to businesses in Timperley Village at an already precarious time for our local economy.
