
New Bus Seating on Riddings Road
Cllr. Will Frass has been chasing Trafford Council to get new seats for our bus stops.
Timperley North is a Residential area in the south of Trafford with approximately 11,700 Residents across 4,700 houses. There are 3 schools in the ward; Heyes Lane Primary School, St. Hughs Primary School & Trafford Alternative Education Provision.
The North of the ward is defined by Baguley Brook, the West by the Bridgewater Canal, the South By the Manchester-Chester Railway Line and the East by Brooklands Road.
The ward is 1 of 9 which make up the Altrincham & Sale West Constituency. It is currently represented by 3 Lib Dem Councilors; Meena Minnis (Elected 2024), Will Frass (Elected 2023) & current Trafford Mayor Jane Brophy (Elected 2023)
Will Frass was first elected to Trafford in 2022, representing the Timperley Ward and now Timperley North Ward. Will first stood for the Lib Dems in 2018 as a candidate for Hale Central.
Will is currently the Deputy Leader of the Lib Dems on Trafford council, and is a member of the Scrutiny & Standards Committees.

Jane was first elected to Trafford Council in 1994 representing Village Ward, the now Timperley Central Ward. She had a gap of five years whilst her children were young and then returned in 2003. Since 2008, she has served as councilor for Timperley and Timperley North Wards.
Jane is currently serving as Trafford Mayor for 2025-2026. Jane has also served as MEP for North-West England from 2019-2020, and has stood as parliamentary candidate for Altrincham & Sale West (2010, 2015, 2017 & 2024) and also as Greater Manchester mayoral candidate in 2017.

Meena has been a Timperley councilor since 2019, first being elected to Timperley Ward and it's subsequent Timperley North Ward. Meena first stood for the Lib Dems in Brooklands Ward in 2016.
Meena is currently serving as a member of the Planning and Development Management comittee on Trafford Council.
